Amanda Neel, CPA
Amanda Neel grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia and moved to Tallahassee in 2002. She graduated summa cum laude from Flagler College with a degree in Accounting in 2013. Amanda worked in non-profit and industry roles leading until receiving her degree, and mostly in taxation at various local and fully remote firms after graduation, before joining the Thomson Brock Luger & Company team in July of 2026. She is experienced in all areas of individual, business, and non-profit taxation. She also handles bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and various attest engagements as needed.
She enjoys helping clients grow their businesses, support their families, and enrich their communities.
She has two adult daughters who inspire her with their creativity and idealism.

Your areas of expertise: She is experienced in all areas of individual, business and trust and estate taxation. She also handles bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax for clients.
Hobbies: Amanda is creative at heart, writing poetry, songs, and stories and frequently has a camera in her hand when she’s not in the office. Amanda enjoys live music of all varieties and serves as photographer for many local and regional bands. She particularly loves the blues. She can regularly be found singing the blues as well, with a focus on female artists like Dinah Washington and Janis Joplin.
Favorite food: Grandma’s pound cake is one of those family legacies that will always be her favorite.
Fun Fact: Amanda understands just enough Russian to not need subtitles for the Russian spoken in James Bond and Marvel movies.
