John Kirk, CPA
John Kirk is a partner here at Thomson Brock Luger & Company. He has a strong passion for all things accounting and wish to serve his clients to the best of his abilities and help them succeed. He was raised in a small town known for being the Shark Tooth Capital of the World, Venice, Florida. Here he developed his love for the beach and fishing.
As a huge FSU Seminole Fan, John left Venice for Tallahassee where he attended Tallahassee Community College and eventually Florida State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance in 2009. During his last years at FSU he interned with TBL and discovered his love for accounting and serving clients. Upon graduating, he transitioned into a full-time staff position in 2009, dedicating himself to providing top-notch service to our clients.
Outside the world of numbers, John finds joy in family life. He is happily married to his lovely wife, Michelle. Together they navigate the adventures of parenthood with two energetic boys.

Your areas of expertise: I specialize in working with individuals and small business by providing tax and client accounting services. My expertise extends to audit and attestation services, particularly for non-profit entities, including Yellow Book and Federal/State Single Audits.
Hobbies: All FSU sports, Building my own furniture and Woodworking, Fishing, Racquetball and whatever my boys are into.
